Following a varied 16 years of working in both the clinical and academic sides of travel health in the UK, Claire’s search for her next challenge and a different way of life bought her all the way to New Zealand in March 2013.
Most recently Claire was a Specialist Nurse at the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC). Before this Claire worked in several specialist travel clinics in London. Along the way she has gained a diploma in travel health and medicine, followed by an MSc in International and Travel Health, and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.
Claire is now continuing her exciting travel health career as Travel Health Specialist Nurse at Worldwise.
Outside of work Claire enjoys travelling (of course!) and is lucky to have travelled throughout Europe, South America, South Africa and South East Asia. She can currently be found having fun exploring her new home country with her husband and two dogs

We have worked with the wonderful staff at Worldwise since 2009. The numerous students and families that have walked through the clinic doors in Newmarket have been thoroughly impressed by the service, care & expertise provided. We cannot speak highly enough about the work Marc and his staff have done, and continue to do, in preparing our young men for their travels abroad!
